COLLEGE

Started all 12 games at LT in his redshirt senior season of 2009 and was named All-ACC Honorable Mention…Led the offensive line in knockdown blocks 3 times and graded out at better than 90 percent in games against Miami and Florida State…Missed the 2008 season after being declared academically ineligible…Started 8 games at RG as a junior in 2007… Missed the North Carolina game due to injury and was slowed in several others…Was on the field for 617 offensive snaps, the 4th-highest total on the team…Ranked 2nd on the squad with 44 knockdown blocks…Started all 14 games at offensive guard as a true sophomore…Saw action on 699 snaps, ranking 3rd on the team...Named honorable mention Freshman All-American and to the ACC All-Freshman Team by The Sporting News in 2005…Blocked for ACC Player of the Year Chris Barclay and helped Wake Forest lead the conference in rushing…Played in all 11 games and started against NC State…Enrolled at Wake Forest in January and participated in spring practice.

Rated by Rivals.com as the 32nd-best offensive guard in the nation coming out of Glenn High School in his hometown of Kernersville, NC…Rated the 2nd-best lineman and the 11th-best overall player in the state…Member of the North Carolina team in the 2004 Shrine Bowl… Earned all-conference and all-area honors as a junior and a senior playing for head coach Dick Cline…Team captain as a senior.
