Hartinder Dhami better known as H-Dhami is a successful British-Indian bhangra act signed in 2007 to Rishi Rich Productions (RRP), a joint partnership between Rishi Rich and entertainment entrepreneur Waleed Jahangir. H-Dhami has also signed a deal with Sony BMG India for distribution in India.
H-Dhami is exactly what the Asian music scene needs. He's a young and fresh bhangra artist with an international fan base already locked in place. Dhami's talents stem from a musical legacy. He's the son of Palvinder Dhami - the legendary lead singer from the Bhangra band HEERA. H-Dhami was destined for big things after spending most of his life on stage from the age of six performing alongside his Dad.
Since signing to the company, H-Dhami has performed across the globe with brand new exclusively written tracks by Rishi Rich plus his first video called Sadke Java has also been played extensively across major Asian TV channels in the UK, USA and Asia. The video is the first produced by RRP and has also been nominated as Video of 2007 by Zee TV. Within just a year, the new Bhangra boy on the street has already received two nominations for the 2008 UK Asian Music Awards (AMAS) for Best New Comer and Best Male Act.
