Aushima Sawhney is an Indian model and Bollywood newcomer actress. Standing 5'8" tall, with a svelte frame and lot of talent.

Although she calls herself a 'style freak', Aushima has impeccable grooming and a great sense of personal style as well, coupled with a perfect blend of confidence and humility, bound to take her a long way in the film industry. Aushima decided to make her debut in the much coveted Indian Film Industry, and in a short while, Aushima has garnered the attention of leading film makers such as Pooja Bhatt (Dhoka), Rohit Jugraj (Superstar), and the showman himself, Subhash Ghai with her confident talent. Unfortunately, both movies, ‘Dhoka ‘ and ‘Superstar’, didn’t receive good critics. She also casted in "Yuvvraaj", starring Salman Khan.

In the pipe line are more mainstream projects. Some of which are in the production stages such as Goodbye Trip, a film shot by Yugander (ex-assistant to Shyam Benegal). Also she has signed for Rohit Roy's Love Story, costarring Rohit Roy, Mansi Roy and Harsh Chaya. The movie is part of the 20 movie deal that Rohit Roy and Zoom have signed.

Aushima Sawhney was born in Delhi and lived in Bangkok with her parents for the most part of her life. Her dad works for the UN (ESCA) and her mother is the Regional Director of “World Youth”, Bangkok. Her measurements are 34-25-36.

Aushima shifted to Mumbai as a participant of the Miss India 2005 beauty peagent. She was one of the final ten finalists. She has studied Media Arts Production and Communication in University of Technology from Sydney and did TV Presentation course from NIDA. Sawhney has also worked in Atif Aslam’s Doorie remix.

Aushima Sawhney is an extrovert who loves dancing, shopping, poetry and photography.
