Arthur Moats is an American football linebacker and defensive end for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League.

Drafted in the sixth-round (178th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft…first draft pick taken from James Madison in Bills history, 12th JMU draft pick in school history and first since 2000 (RB Curtis Keaton, 4th round, 9th overall, CIN)

Started 29-of-49 games recording 208 tackles (104 solo) with a JMU second-best 29.0 career sacks and 48.5 tackles for loss

Buck Buchanan Award winner as the top defensive player in the Football Championship Subdivision… named JMU Athlete of the Year, team captain, CAA Defensive Player of the Year and first-team all-conference selection… started all 11 games at left defensive end leading the team with a career-best 90 tackles (42 solo) and set a JMU single-season record with 23.5 tackles for loss, leading the nation… led the CAA with 11.0 sacks to rank third in the nation… earned CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors with nine tackles, a forced fumble and a sack vs. Liberty… returned a fumble 68 yards for a touchdown to go along with seven stops vs. Towson
