Signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2009...Released by the Texans on September 5...Signed to the Texans’ practice squad on September 6 ...Signed to the Texans’ active roster on November 17.

Big running back that worked his way onto the active roster from the practice squad late in his rookie season...came on strong at the end of the season, rushing for 216 yards and three scores in the last two games...finished the year with 54 carries for 257 yards and three touchdowns to go with eight receptions for 93 yards.

Rushed for 2,964 yards in four years at the University of Tennessee...led the team with 570 rushing yards and a touchdown as a senior in 2008...also caught 19 passes for 166 yards...finished sixth among SEC rushing leaders with 1,193 yards as a junior in 2007 and earned second-team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press and Rivals.com...his 12 rushing TDs were most by Vol runner since Jay Graham had 12 in 1995...also caught 39 passes for 340 yards and two scores...rushed 91 times for 322 yards with five touchdowns and caught 11 passes for 88 yards as a sophomore in 2006...earned freshman All-America accolades from Rivals.com and The Sporting News in 2005 when he ran for 879 yards and five touchdowns...ran for a career-high 223 yards against Vanderbilt...redshirted in 2004.
